A Message To Our Community

IHSCA family, we are reaching out to you regarding the video that the Civilian Office of Police Accountability (COPA) released in the killing of Adam Toledo. As a community, we clearly know and try to make sense of the many tragic events that unfortunately mar our Latino and Black communities. When it is a child, a friend, or a family member, the pain is even greater.

IHSCA hosted a spirit week on the week of March 22nd to show our school pride and lift the spirits of our students and staff. We had a week full activities and themes for everyone to participate in. Congratulations! Vanessa Diaz Accepted Into The IHSA SAC!

Our very own IHSCA student, Vanessa Diaz 10th Grade, continues to make IHSCA proud as she was recently selected to be a part of the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) Student Advisory Committee. She will represent our school by being a voice for Chicago Area high schools and will play a role in continuing to improve how sports and extracurricular activities our facilitated in the state of Illinois. We know she will do a great job in representing us all!

IHSCA Hosting A Blood Drive May 21st!

IHSCA is excited to announce that we are partnering up with the Versiti Blood Center of Illinois to host a blood drive on our school campus! This event will take place on May 21st from 10:00am - 4:00pm. Please continue to read to learn how you can donate blood and make a difference!
