THE IHSCA DIFFERENCE
Where students are known, families are valued, and futures are built.
At IHSCA, enrolling a student means welcoming and supporting the family. Our small-school environment allows staff to build meaningful relationships, monitor student progress, communicate with families, and respond when students need additional guidance or support.
Teachers, counselors, support staff, and school leaders work together to understand each student’s strengths, needs, interests, and goals.
Families receive communication, guidance, learning opportunities, and connections to services that support student and family success.
Academic monitoring, counseling, intervention, multilingual services, special education, and social-emotional support help students move forward.
As part of Instituto del Progreso Latino, IHSCA students and families can be connected with a broader network of educational, workforce, training, and community resources.
Available services may vary based on program eligibility, availability, and individual family needs.
Our values guide how students learn, lead, serve, build relationships, and contribute to the school community.
Students begin exploring their interests and future possibilities in ninth grade. Over four years, they participate in academic planning, grade-level college experiences, leadership development, career exploration, dual-credit opportunities, financial-aid preparation, and postsecondary transition planning.
Our goal is for every graduate to leave IHSCA with a clear plan and the knowledge, confidence, and support needed to take the next step.
A meaningful high school experience extends beyond the classroom. Students are encouraged to connect, participate, lead, and discover new interests.
Students can compete, build teamwork, develop discipline, and represent IHSCA through school athletics.
Clubs, student organizations, leadership opportunities, and service learning help students build confidence and community.
Academic support, enrichment, recreation, mentoring, and special programs provide additional ways for students to learn and connect.
