Through classroom experiences, student organizations, athletics, service projects, mentoring, and school activities, students learn to use their voices, support others, and lead with integrity.

School spirit grows when students participate, support one another, and contribute to the life of their school. Spirit weeks, celebrations, activities, clubs, athletics, and special events give students opportunities to connect and belong.

A Phoenix student-athlete is a student first. Our athletes represent IHSCA through academic responsibility, preparation, discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship, wellness, and respect for teammates, coaches, opponents, and officials.

High school is also about finding community and building relationships. Through classes, clubs, athletics, field experiences, celebrations, and after-school programming, students form friendships and learn how to work with people from different backgrounds.
These experiences help students develop empathy, communication, teamwork, and respect—skills that strengthen friendships and prepare students for college, healthcare careers, and life beyond high school.

We want students to work hard, grow, and prepare for their futures—but we also want them to enjoy their high school experience. School events, trips, celebrations, dances, activities, athletics, and senior traditions create memories students can carry with them after graduation.
Each class contributes to the story of IHSCA and helps build traditions for the Phoenixes who follow.
