Athletics, Clubs & Activities

Student involvement is an important part of the IHSCA experience. Athletics, clubs, and extracurricular activities help students develop leadership, build friendships, discover new interests, and strengthen their connection to the school community.

Our Universal Standard

Student First

At IHSCA, students are students first. Participation in athletics, clubs, and extracurricular activities is a privilege that comes with high academic, attendance, behavioral, and participation expectations.

Eligibility for Extracurricular Participation

The following expectations apply to all athletics, clubs, teams, and extracurricular activities:

  • Students must be passing all classes.
  • Students must attend school consistently.
  • Students must follow all school rules and behavioral expectations.
  • Students must maintain their academic responsibilities.
  • Students must communicate appropriately with teachers, coaches, moderators, and school leaders.
  • Students must demonstrate the IHSCA core values.
  • Students must represent IHSCA positively at school and in the community.
  • Students must meet the high standards established for all extracurricular participants.

Participation may be limited or suspended when a student is not meeting academic, attendance, behavioral, paperwork, or program expectations.
